Visual Pinball

Visual Pinball

As I described on the previous page, Visual Pinball is a program that allows you
to build your own PC pinball machines. It has a pretty decent construction set
and the ability to import custom graphics allows you to make accurate recreations
of real arcade pinball machines, or you can create your own original tables with new graphics.

And with the addition of PinMAME, which allows you to run the original arcade Eproms
and test the original arcade software, you can create a replica video pinball machine
that functions much like the real deal, and it has the added bonus of a working dot matrix
or Alpha Numeric display.

So where can you get it?

Tables can be downloaded from the Visual Pinball Forums.
There's also links to all the necessary core files needed to make the program work.

Here's a couple screen shots to give you an idea of what a good table looks like.

Bally's 1980 Xenon.

Bally's Attack From Mars.

Capcom's Big Bang Bar.
